Moist and Eggless Whole Wheat Banana-Chocolate Cake: The Most Addictive Bread / Cake

How to make Eggless Banana Chocolate Bread/Cake Using Whole Wheat Flour
(Vegetarian, Eggfree, Nuts Free,  No butter Bread / Cake Recipe)
Hello Foodies,
Deliciously moist cake, fragrant with vanilla extract, and gets its rich flavor from banana and chocolate chips. They taste fantastic when served with a scoop of your favorite ice-cream or simply drizzle some chocolate syrup. This bread is delicious enough to satisfy sweet cravings, this healthy-dessert is a recipe you can feel excellent packing for your kids’ lunches or rewarding yourself with after (or during!) a long day and they travel well for potlucks and picnics too. One of the reasons I adore recipes like these banana bread so much is that they allow me to sweeten up my baked goods more naturally. This recipe really illustrates how useful bananas are in baking by adding sweetness and keeping things moist and tender at the same time. When bananas are ripe, I like to make banana-chocolate bread with extra chocolate, and every time I bake banana bread, the results are always perfection! Ripe and overripe bananas are a hero of egg-free baking, keeping things moist while adding flavor and natural sweetness. This baked egg-free banana chocolate cake makes a great dessert option. It makes for satisfying desserts. Mashed banana helps moisten the batter and sliced almond topping that complements the chocolate cake.

Ripening the Bananas:
Whenever you’re making banana bread, make sure your bananas are very ripe. When you don’t have a ripe banana, then simply bake them (with the skin on) for 15 minutes at 200C. Then mashed them and added them to the batter.

Moist Chocolate Banana Bread/Cake:
Now how is this chocolate banana bread so good? It has dark chocolate, cocoa powder, and whole-wheat flour! Whenever you are baking, try using the best quality chocolate that you can get your hands on. I use Hershey’s dark unsweetened cocoa powder, but you can use any good quality cocoa powder.

Preparation Time: 15 Minutes; Baking Time: 30 Minutes.

My Take:
  • You can use cinnamon, nutmeg to enhance the flavor.
  • You can add jaggery instead of sugar.
  • Instead of cake flour, you can use almond meal too.
  • Instead of Hershey’s dark unsweetened Cocoa Powder, you can use any brand’s cocoa you have.
  • Skip topping with sliced almonds if you want to make it nut-free.
