How to stir fry Broccoli with Garlic
Hello Foodies,
         Broccoli-Garlic Stir Fry is a very basic and healthy roasted/sauteed veggies recipe. It is healthy, easy to prepare, and versatile in stir-fry dishes. Very simple, good balance of flavors, quick, and tasty stir fry recipe. I love any stir-fry, and this had all of my favorite flavors. Broccoli and garlic are two wholesome vegetables that go together in any dish. Garlic and broccoli have several antioxidant properties that help boost immunity. Also, you can prepare stir-fry with other veggies, too, such as cauliflower or Brussels sprouts, which can be substituted for broccoli.


         I recommend throwing in some bell pepper and the onions. They add a great flavor, and that will become a nice accompaniment/side to chicken/any pasta dishes. This vegan weeknight dinner is easy to make in about 20 minutes. It is one of the healthy takeout recipes, which is meat-free, gluten-free, low in fat, and very simple.

Whether Steam/Blanch the broccoli or not?
  • I highly recommend steaming broccoli first before stir-frying. The blanching process can shorten the stir-frying process and keep the broccoli crunchy and light green. 

Preparation and Cooking Time 20 Minutes.
Each Serving of Broccoli-Garlic Stir Fry contains 93 Calories.

Ingredients:
  • Broccoli 1 head broccoli, separated into florets
  • Garlic 4-5 cloves, minced
  • Black pepper ½ Tsp 
  • Salt ½ Tsp
  • Oil 2 Tsp
Instructions:
  • Bring enough water to a boil in a large pot, and place a steamer.
  • Now, add washed and drained broccoli to the steamer basket.
  • Cover and steam for 2-3 minutes, and once done, take out and keep aside.
  • Heat cooking oil in a pan and saute garlic for a minute or two.
  • Now, slide broccoli in and add black pepper, salt, and mix well.
  • Cover and cook for 4-5 minutes and stir in between.
  • After 5 minutes, squeeze lemon juice and serve warm and crunchy broccoli. 
  • It paired with the Tandoori Chicken. Enjoy!!!
