Hello Foodies,
A simple but scrumptious recipe for Indian Kulcha Paneer Tikka Pizza. Kulcha, delicious and crispy Indian flatbread! It tastes fantastic when served with a creamy, saucy Indian dish and it tastes even better when served as a pizza! Kulchas are usually cooked in a clay oven or tandoor until golden brown. They’re a little crispy, a lot of chewy. You can eat them with curry or just slather in butter. One morning last week McDreamy and I was craving for some spicy, cheesy(chamchamit) dish to eat. And so I came up with this yummy pizza to satisfy our cravings. And I finally kept everything ready to make this homemade Indian Paneer Tikka Kulcha pizza. This recipe is super easy and so delicious! I can't get enough of it. Pizzas are delicious by itself, but it is fantastic when baked with a saucy Indian Paneer Tikka Masala and Kulcha.
There are many types of Indian flatbreads. Kulcha is less well known, but it's easier and simpler to make, it doesn't include yeast. Ideally, it made in a tandoor oven, but I make mine on a skillet on the stovetop. Usually, I prepare kulchas in batches and half cook them and fridge it for later use. Paneer tikka is an Indian dish of marinated paneer(cottage cheese) served in an aromatic, spiced gravy. It is a simple vegetarian alternative to chicken tikka masala. Here I have marinated cottage cheese for 1 hour in yogurt, red chili powder, garam masala, salt, and lemon juice and topped on half cooked Kulcha flatbread (pizza base) along with Pizza sauce and cheese. Isn't it simple? So guys get ready to learn how easy and fun it is to make this Indian Paneer Tikka Kulcha Pizza!
