Christmas Coconut Ice Balls / Vegan Coconut Ladoos

Hello Foodies,
          These coconut dipped balls are absolutely addicting. These snowy multi-colored ice balls

are made with a coconut milk desiccated coconut and flavored with vanilla. This dreamy dessert prepared in 10 minutes. These vegan treats can be loved by kids and adults too. It's a
perfect recipe when you have less time, or you are in a hurry. To prepare this if balls no need to make any kind of sugar syrup. So it's simple, but delicious and mouth-watering dessert. These are very special and that nobody can resist.

Preparation and Cooking Time: 15 Minutes.
Each coconut ice ball contains 100 Calories.

  1. Desiccated Coconut 2 ½ cups
  2. Confectioners sugar / Powdered Sugar 1 ½ cup
  3. Coconut milk 1 ½  cup
  4. Cashew powder ¼ cup(30 g)
  5. Cream of tartar ¼ tsp(optional)
  6. Vanilla extract ½ tsp
  7. Coconut oil 2 Tsp
  8. Food colors 2-3 drops(I have used red, sky blue, green,
    yellow and orange)


  1. In a pan add coconut oil, coconut milk, desiccated coconut, cream of tartar and icing sugar.
  2. Mix all and cook on medium flame, for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Now add cashew flour and vanilla extract and continue to cook until mixture becomes
    thick and begins to leave the sides of the pan.
  4. Divide the mixture into equal portion.
  5. Add 2 drops of food color(I have used red, green, blue, yellow and orange food colors) and mix well.
  6. Roll each portion to make a ladoos and roll prepared ladoos into desiccated coconut and let it dry.
  7. Here, soft, flavorsome ladoos
    are ready. Enjoy!!!

My Take:

  1. You can prepare snowballs 1 week ahead. Cover and refrigerate.

Dietary Comment

  1. It made 24 servings. And based on a 2000 calorie diet, per serving contains 100

    calories, along with 9 g carbohydrates, 7.5 g fats, and 1 g protein.
