Plum Kesari / Plum Halwa / Rava Kesari

Preparation Time: 5 Minutes, Cooking Time: 15 Minutes,

Ingredients :
  • Semolina 1 cup
  • 1 plum fruit
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 cups Milk ( Optional, you can use water too)
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • Saffron 6-7 strands
  • Dry fruits





Recipe :
  1. Keep a pan on a low flame and add the ghee, once the ghee becomes hot, add the semolina and saute on a slow flame for 6 to 8 minutes.
  2. Once the semolina roasted, add plum pieces and cook plum pieces for 1 to 2 minutes.
  3. Now, add saffron soaked with milk into roasted semolina and plum pan and stir continuously till milk gets absorbed.
  4. Add sugar and stir it well. Cook till it gets thick. It starts to leave the sides of pan and ghee will start to ooze out.
  5. Garnish plum sheera with dry fruits. It's ready to serve.
