Plum Kesari / Plum Halwa / Rava Kesari
Preparation Time: 5 Minutes, Cooking Time: 15 Minutes,
Ingredients :
- Semolina 1 cup
- 1 plum fruit
- 1 cup of sugar
- 2 cups Milk ( Optional, you can use water too)
- 2 tbsp Ghee
- Saffron 6-7 strands
- Dry fruits
Recipe :
- Keep a pan on a low flame and add the ghee, once the ghee becomes hot, add the semolina and saute on a slow flame for 6 to 8 minutes.
- Once the semolina roasted, add plum pieces and cook plum pieces for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Now, add saffron soaked with milk into roasted semolina and plum pan and stir continuously till milk gets absorbed.
- Add sugar and stir it well. Cook till it gets thick. It starts to leave the sides of pan and ghee will start to ooze out.
- Garnish plum sheera with dry fruits. It's ready to serve.
