In this "Gosht," means "meat " and “Palak” means Spinach.” Goat curry tastes delicious when served with phulkas or chapati or with steamed rice. It's a meat curry featuring Spinach leaves.

It is one of our go-to recipes when we want to cook a simple, wholesome non-vegetarian meal for family and friends. So this goat curry is made with goat meat and spinach, cooked with onions, and some spices for a rich, hearty dish that's perfect for preparing for a crowd. You can choose the kind of meat you'd like to use for this dish. If you don't want to use mutton or goat meat, you can make it with chicken, a lamb will be just as tasty.           What I like about this dish is how rich it is in spinach. It makes it lighter than other meat dishes, plus you get your daily dose of greens. For a more interesting and pleasant texture, I recommend finely chop the spinach leaves. This way, you get a super creamy and saucy consistency. The combination of spices with garlic, ginger, and onions make this dish very aromatic. For the spices, I went with turmeric, coriander powder, red chili powder, and dried fenugreek leaves.

The Super Bowl is approaching, which means that there's just one question on your mind: What will you eat? So get ready for game time with this creamy and spicy Spinach Gosht made with goat meat, spinach, onions, and some spices. Making it is so easy and so enjoyable. It's always the hit of the party.

  • If you have fresh Fenugreek leaves in your hand, then use 1 cup of Fenugreek leaves instead of Kasuri methi.
  • You can use chicken or lamb meat instead of goat.
  • To make the sauce or a creamy palak gosht, add ¼ cup of heavy cream.
  •  You can use oil instead of ghee.
