How to Make Street Style Paneer Tikka Kathi Rolls
Hello Foodies,
These Kathi Rolls are the regular and most favorite street food in India. In this Kathi Rolls recipes, Indian flatbreads(chapati)are filled with different veggies, mushrooms, and meat, etc. Kathi Rolls are an "Indian Burritos". It's tasty as well as a healthy meal too. A single Kathi Roll can be had for lunch or dinner, and you will be full for long.
Paneer Kathi Roll has a tasty melange of Paneer Tikka, and Indian spices rolled together and served with spicy and tangy chutneys or condiments. The Paneer Tikka for the Kathi Rolls can be prepared ahead of time and wrap within whole wheat flour tortilla before serving. It tastes so yummy, easy to make, and everyone loves them.
Forgiving more taste to the Kathi Rolls, you can apply your favorite sauces as the base. Here I have used coriander chutney, but you can use tomato ketchup, mayonnaise, or Mexican sauce too. Try this recipe and enjoy it with your family and friends!

Each Serving of Paneer Tikka Kathi Rolls Contains 176 Calories.
Ingredients:
To Make Paneer Tikka Masala:
- Paneer ½ inch cubes 1 cup
- Onion ½ inch cubes, ½ Cup
- Green and Red pepper ½ inch cubes, 1 Cup
- Red chili powder 1 Tsp
- Garam Masala ½ Tsp
- Turmeric ½ Tsp
- Salt 1 Tsp
- Ginger-Garlic Paste 1 Tsp
- Yogurt ¼ Cup
- Oil 1 Tbsp
To Make Paneer Tikka Kathi Rolls:
- Whole Wheat Flour Tortillas 6-7
- Ghee 2 Tsp
- Green Chutney / Coriander Chutney ¼ Cup
- Cheese ¼ Cup(Optional)
- Onion ¼ Cup, sliced
Instructions:
To Marinate Paneer:
- In a bowl, add yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, garam masala, turmeric, salt, and mix well.
- Now, add paneer cubes, sliced onion, red and green pepper, and mix well.
- Cover and keep aside for 30 minutes.
To Prepare Paneer Tikka:
- Heat 1 Tbsp oil in a pan and add marinated paneer and veggies and saute for 4-5 minutes.
- Saute until paneer begins to brown slightly and keep aside.
To Prepare Whole Wheat Flour Tortilla/Chapati:
To Roll Tortilla/Chapati:
- Take the dough ball and sprinkle some flour over the floor and roll the dough ball in a circular motion to form a circular shape.
- Make it of even thickness from all around.
To Roast Tortilla:
- Heat tawa(skillet) and transfer the rolled tortilla and let it form a few air bubbles.
- Turn the tortilla and keep the tawa on a higher flame.
- Roast the tortilla from both sides.
- Once done, remove the roasted tortilla and apply some ghee(it's optional), but ghee will keep the tortilla softer.
To Prepare Paneer Tikka Kathi Rolls:
- Place a whole wheat flour tortilla and spread 2 Tbsp coriander chutney.
- Place 2 Tbsp prepared Paneer Tikka stuffing, sliced red onion, and cheese.
- Wrap the tortilla and serve. Enjoy!!!
