Easy to make Mango Lassi Popsicle Recipe

family will like! As kids, summer was incomplete without Pepsi, icecreams, garegar, lassi on a hot afternoon. So, this summer enjoy these creamy, yummy popsicles on their own. Procedure to make this popsicle is super fast and easy, and these Homemade mango lassi popsicles are a way healthier than to store-bought frozen treats. These popsicles will give you a taste of homemade mango lassi. Do you love Mangoes? Then I am sure you will go even more nuts over these Mango Lassi popsicles. Get a taste of India with this sweet and tangy flavored pops. 


           This three-ingredient popsicle includes fresh Mango pulp, thick homemade yogurt, and sugar. You just need to blend all together and fill into the popsicles mold and freeze it. Hours later enjoy this special summer treat! The name Mango Lassi!just makes the simplicity of these popsicles sound extra fancy and yummy!

Preparation Time: 2 Minutes; Freezing Time: 4-5 hours.

What is Lassi?
        Lassi is a popular traditional Yogurt-based drink that originated in the Indian subcontinent. It is a blend of yogurt, water, sugar, salt, sometimes spices, and sometimes fruit. So prepared this Mango Lassi Popsicles made a batch of Yogurt in my Instant Pot- easy-peasy, no-fail yogurt maker.

Instructions:

  • Add ice cubes, mango pulp, sugar, and yogurt into a grinder jar.
  • Grind/blend the ingredients until smooth.
  • Pour the prepared smoothie into the popsicle mold.
  • Freeze for 4-5 hours, until the popsicles are frozen solid.
  • Once done they are ready to beat the heat of summer. Enjoy!!!

My Take:

  • If your Mangoes are sweet then totally avoid the addition of sugar.
  • If desired, add a small cube of Mangoes at the bottom of each popsicle.

  • It makes 8-9 popsicles(it can be changed, depending on mold size you use).
  • The calorie count is based on a 2000 calorie diet.
  • Per serving contains 45 calories, along with 6.44 g carbohydrates and 4 g protein.
