Italian White Sauce Penne Pasta

Today's Recipe is Italian style creamy white sauce pasta, and this is one of my favorite pasta too, easy to make and tossed in veggies it's nutritious too. Pasta is a staple of Italian cuisine but is equally loved in India and all over the world too. Usually, pasta is cooked in two types of sauces, either red sauce pasta or white sauce pasta. Today I have prepared it with white sauce. White sauce has a very delicate and creamy flavor. It also has milk which has calcium and protein. To make pasta more nutritious, I have added more vegetables to assimilate micronutrients(vitamins and minerals). A single serving of white sauce pasta has about 222 calories.
          Pasta is a perfect source for healthy, nutritious and appealing meals, pasta is eaten with nutrient dense food, such as fiber packed vegetables, antioxidant packed tomato sauce and protein packed cheeses that are white sauce.

Preparation : 5 Minutes ; Cooking Time :10 Minutes ;

Ingredients :

  1. Penne Pasta 1 Cup
  2. Butter 2 tbsp
  3. Garlic 3 cloves, chopped.
  4. Maida, 2 tbsp
  5. Milk 1 cup
  6. Black Pepper 1 tsp
  7. Salt 1 tsp
  8. Veggies -  Broccoli, Carrots, Green peas, Cauliflower, Radish (Each ¼ cup)
  9. Parmesan cheese 2 tbsp
  10. Red chilli flakes ½ tsp

Recipe :
  1. Boil pasta and all veggies for 5 minutes.
  2. Turn on flame and place a pan, add butter and garlic, saute till garlic get light brown color.
  3. Now add Maida or APF, milk, black pepper, salt, and  saute all well and cook about a minute.
  4. Add veggies, pasta and parmesan cheese, red chilli flakes and mix all and saute for another minute.
  5. Here, creamy, veggie and healthy white sauce pasta is ready to serve, serve with garlic bread. Enjoy!!!
