Best Recipe for Rava Ladoo Without Sugar Syrup

Hello Foodies,
          Rose-Rava Ladoo, this has to be the easiest Diwali mithai/sweets that you can make in a
zippy. This ladoo recipe requires 30 minutes of your time and 4 basic ingredients. Rava ladoo is a super quick sweet recipe that is aromatic & tastes delicious with a slight crunch that comes from aromatic roasted rava. It is a perfect recipe for beginner's and needs no expertise.
           The flavor of the rava ladoo is often enhanced with nuts (such as cashew, pistachio, almonds or peanut) and spices (such as cardamom or rose water). Today here I have used rose extract and rose petals to enhance the flavor of ladoos. So this Diwali try to prepare this yummy ladoos at home.


Preparation and Cooking Time: 30 Minutes.
Each Rose-Rava Ladoo contains 180 calories.

Ingredients :

  1. Rava / Sooji / Semolina 2 Cups
  2. Maida / All Purpose Flour 1 Cup
  3. Ghee ½ cup
  4. Powdered Sugar 1 ½ Cups
  5. Rose extract 1 Tsp
  6. Rose Petals (optional)
  7. Milk as needed

Instructions:

  1. Heat ¼ cup of ghee in a pan and add rava and roast for 7-8 minutes on low to medium flame.
  2. Now, add maida and ¼ cup ghee and roast for 5 to 6 minutes on medium to low flame.
  3. Take roasted rava and maida in a bowl and let it cool.
  4. Add rose extract, rose petals and powdered sugar and mix all.
  5. Now, add milk and mix all well and roll to make ladoos and garnish with rose petals or dry fruits(if needed add milk to roll ladoos). Enjoy!!!

My Take :

  1. You can totally replace rose extract by adding cardamom Powder.
  2. You may add more ghee to roll ladoos instead of milk.
  3. Store them in an airtight container up to 8-10 days.

Dietary Comment:

It makes 18 servings. Based on a 2000 calorie diet. Per serving contains 180 calories, along with carbohydrates - 32 g, dietary fibers - 1 g, fats - 4.7 g, proteins - 3.1 g.

             It is good to eat Rose-Rava ladoo as a dessert.
