So, today's recipe is Drumstick Soup, which is low in calories, low in fats, and is highly nutritious. Preparation and Cooking Time: 15 Minutes.

  1. Drumstick pods 50 g
  2. Olive oil ½ tsp
  3. Garlic 1 cloves
  4. Ginger 1 tsp
  5. Tomato ½  small, chopped
  6. Onion ½  small, chopped
  7. Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  8. Salt ½  tsp
  9. Pigeon peas / Tur dal 2 tbsp, boiled
  10. Black pepper 1 tsp
  11. Coriander leaves 2 tbsp, chopped.
  12. Cumin Powder 1 tsp
  13. Asafoetida 1 pinch
  14. Water 2 ½ cup

  1. In a pan heat ½  tsp olive oil, add ginger, garlic, chopped onion, and tomato, saute well and add turmeric powder, a pinch of asafoetida, cumin powder, salt, black pepper, and pigeon peas, or toor dal mix and saute.
  2. Now add washed, trimmed, and chopped drumstick pods and mix all very well and add water, bring it to boil, and add coriander leaves. Then cover the pan with lead and cook till the pod gets cooked well inside and till the mixture is homogenous.
  3. Here, Healthy, tasty, and Hot Drumstick Soup is ready to serve. Serve it hot with brown bread. Enjoy!!!
