How to Make Best Light and Fluffy Eggless Hawaiian Sweet Rolls using Instant Pot
Hello Foodies,
Made this our most favorite, melt in the mouth texture, soft and fluffy, Instant Pot Eggfree Hawaiian Sweet Rolls. These classic Hawaiian sweet rolls are perfect for your Thanksgiving dinner and are impossible to resist. These can be the best Thanksgiving side dishes. These are a perfect size, kids friendly, eggless desserts or snacks, and as a complement to any meal.
These have a tropical flavor, and these are perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It is a classic recipe that I have been making for the last 2-3 years! Every single time I make these, I end up with soft, fluffy, and delicious rolls. Before I bought a stand mixer, I used to knead the dough with the hands(if you did this, you know how painful it was), but since bought it, I felt like making sweet rolls at home is the easiest thing. They're so good that most of the time they don't even last until the next day.
YouTube Video:
There truly is nothing better than homemade sweet rolls. Whenever I make them at home, the smell in my house is divine, not to mention that when you pull these beauties out of the oven, the satisfaction you get is worth the effort. So homemade sweet rolls with a handful of ingredients, the delicious sweet rolls can you be on your table in a jiffy. So guys give these a try this festive season!
Proofing the Dough in the Instant Pot:
Traditionally, these Sweet Rolls would take hours to prepare, 2 ½ hours to rise(1-hour first rise, 1-hour second rise, ½ hour third rise). But, with the Instant Pot, you can cut that time to 60 minutes. It’s almost too good to believe, but they really do end up as soft and fluffy as the traditional way.
What is Hawaiian Sweet Rolls?
These delicious sweet rolls got a tropical taste of pineapple. They have a different flavor and taste than the regular dinner rolls. The sweet and tangy pineapple juice addition is a key flavor to this Hawaiian Sweet Rolls. So don't skip it and give them a try, and I promise they will be your new favorite accompaniment.
What if you don't have a Stand Mixer?
No mixer, no problem. All you have to do is knead everything by hand. After mixing all the ingredients, transfer the dough to a clean work surface and knead by hand until all the flour is incorporated and you end up with a dough that is sticky and soft to touch.
Tips to Make Hawaiian Rolls:
If you want less sweet rolls to feel free to reduce the sugar.
It is a very soft and sticky dough, so keep kneading the mixture until it comes clean from the sides of the bowl.
Check the expiry date on yeast, if it's no longer good to use then rolls will not turn out well.

Pineapple juice (room temperature), canned ½ cup
Milk ½ Cup, warm
Brown sugar ¼ cup

Salt ½ Tsp
Instant yeast 2 ¼ Tsp

Add 2 cups of the flour and stir with the spatula.
Attach the dough hook to the mixer and turn on the mixer to medium-low speed.
Now, gradually add the remaining 2 cups of flour until the dough comes together.

Turn off the mixer and take the dough out of the bowl.
To Rising/Proof the Dough in the Instant Pot:
Meanwhile, grease the inner pot of the instant pot with oil or butter.
Transfer the prepared dough into the instant pot.
Close the lid of the instant pot and let the dough rise on yogurt mode for 1 hour.
After an hour open the lid and the dough has doubled in size, punch it down and take it out.
To Roll and Bake the Hawaiian Sweet Rolls:
Line a baking pan with butter greased parchment paper.
Use a scraper or knife to divide the dough into equal parts.
Roll each part into a small dough ball and place it in the prepared pan.
Cover the pan with the damp cloth and let it rise for 30 minutes or until doubled in size.
Brush all over the rolls with the milk.
Meanwhile, preheat the oven at 375°F.
Bake the rolls in a preheated oven for 16-18 minutes, or until golden brown color.

The shelf life of Hawaiian Sweet Rolls:
Let the rolls cool completely before storing.
These rolls can be stored on the kitchen counter covered in plastic wrap for 3-4 days. If using a plastic storage bag, push out all the excess air from inside, the air will dry the bread quicker.
You can freeze these rolls in an airtight container for up to 1-2 months. Whenever you need, thaw at room temperature overnight before warming back up in the oven.

Kantola / spiny gourd is a seasonal vegetable and found especially during the rainy season. It is slightly similar or a smaller version of bitter gourd. McDreamy likes to taste different vegetables, and because of him, I ate different veggies after moving to the USA. I tried those veggies, which I never tried back home. The spiny gourd is more like a veggie-rich in water content like cucumber and radish. So I made this simple Kantola stir fry or curry to pair with chapati or as a side dish for rice for lunch and dinner.

How to Make Traditional Coconut Burfi Recipe / Malai Coconut Burfi / नारियल की बर्फी/नारळाची वडी

So it's simple but delicious and mouth-watering dessert. These are very special and that nobody can resist. If you are a sweet lover(like me), then you will love this moist and delicious coconut burfi for sure.
When it comes to sweets, I love easy recipes. This moist coconut burfi made using four ingredients and in less than 30 minutes. I like to make this moist and sweet coconut burfi for special occasions, but they're great for even a casual weekend gathering or everyday dessert after lunch.
YouTube Video:
This Traditional Dessert is one that I love to make for a few reasons:
It's super easy to make.
Moist and Delicious!
Just about everyone loves it.
Full of flavor.
It requires less than 30 minutes.
This recipe is close to my heart, and it was my second rasoi(Rasoi Ceremony); first was Puranpoli!
About Rasoi Ceremony: Post marriage, as per tradition, the new bride in the house takes over the duties of the kitchen from her MIL. The rasoi ceremony is to introduce the bride to the new kitchen; the Rasoi ceremony held where the bride generally cooks something sweet for the very first time. Any auspicious occasion begins with something sweet, and likewise, something sweet is cooked in the rasoi ceremony as well!
Keep in mind these basic things to get Moist and Perfect Textured Traditional Fresh Coconut Burfi:
To get perfectly white coconut burfi: scrape the skin of the fresh coconut(because we don't need the coconut shell particles to come in gratings). Wash and pat dry the coconut, and grate or grind the coconut.
So do not use the last brown covering part of the coconut for the burfi. That will change the color of the burfi.
The trick in making burfi is to know the right time to remove from the flame. So pay attention there. If you take the pan off the fire too early, the burfi mix will be too soft and will not set. If you take it off a little late, the burfi mix will be too dry and will crumble and will not retain the shape you want.
The addition of milk and milk cream/malai makes burfi soft, moist, and juicy texture, so don't skip adding milk.
Always cook the coconut, sugar, and milk mixture on medium to low flame.
This burfi tastes well when you make it using freshly grated coconut, so try to get the fresh coconut and grate or grind it at home.
Do not saute coconut so much; otherwise, the coconut would change its color to light brown.
If the burfi is soft and not able to cut into pieces:
It means we need to cook the mixture for some more time. Cook the mixture on low flame till all the moisture is absorbed.
If the Burfi starts to crumble:
It means mixture overcooked, so add 2 Tbsp milk and reheat the mixture. Keep cooking in low flame till all the moisture is absorbed and then pour the mixture into the plate.
