Hello Friends,

Methi Mutter Malai is an amazing curry recipe and which is loved by kids and adults equally. This dish looks so different than the rest of the other curries. It's very simple and easy to make. Basically, it's made from main three ingredients that are Fenugreek leaves (Methi), Green Peas(Matar) and Fresh Cream (Malai). This curry has a slightly sweet taste than other curries, so it's perfect for kids and who ate less spicy food, if you are looking for a mild spicy option in Indian curries then this can be the one.
Fenugreek is a popular winter vegetable in India. Fenugreek leaves have a strong aroma and a slightly bitter taste, but it tastes wonderful when mixed with green peas and malai. Fenugreek leaves are known to reduce cholesterol and reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. It is also very good for Diabetes as it slow

Methi Mutter Malai is ready to serve, serve hot with rotis, chapatis, naan or with rice. Enjoy!!!

My Take :
  1. To make Vegan version, just skip milk and cream and add more cashews paste or replace it by adding coconut milk and cream or almond milk. Replace butter by adding olive oil or veg.oil
  2. The quantity of cream in this recipe can be adjusted to taste and preference. To make a lower calorie version, I have used more milk and 2 tablespoon of cream.
  3. I have used fresh green peas, you can use frozen peas too, just boil them till they are soft and then add to the dish.
  4. Boiled onion will help you to reduce the raw taste of the onions, so I will recommend you to don't skip this step.
  5. If you don't want to prepare in Instant Pot, no worries you can do all the procedure into the kadhai too! Just first cook methi leaves separately for 2 to 3 minutes in a boiling water, drain the water and chop them and then add them to the kadhai with Matar.

How to decorate cookies into winter snowman by using fondant

#Cookies #WinterCookies #SugarCookies #SnowmanCookies #FondantTutorial #AaichiSavali

Hello Everyone,
Prepared this most popular snowman sugar cookies this winter and they are really cute and taste good too. This fondant covered Snowman Sugar Cookies melt in your mouth. And I enjoyed making these.

YouTube Video

Ingredients :
  1. Sugar Cookies
  2. White Fondant
  3. Blue fondant
  4. Colored fondant for the hat, eyes, buttons (we choose black and pink)
  5. Black color edible Pen
  6. Circle cookie cutter
  7. Rolling pin
  8. Blade tool

Instructions :

  1. Prepare your cookie and cut into circles shapes before baking and leaving to fully cool.
  2. Roll out the sky blue fondant, until a couple of mm (1/8") in thickness.
  3. Using circle cookie cutter cut the fondant and place over the cookie, here our base is ready.
  4. Now, roll white fondant and by using the circle cookie cutter cut out a shape.
  5. Firstly, place the big circle over and that will make a body of the snowman and then over the big circle place the small circle to make the face.
  6. Using the edible pen marker draw eyes.
  7. Shape a small nose using yellow fondant and adhere to the middle of the face.
  8. To make the scarf: Make the scarf by rolling out some more of the fondant and using the sharp knife cut out 2 strips around ½ cm
wide and 3-4 cm long. At one end using the sharp knife cut a fringe around ½ cm long with about 4 to 5 pieces as per the video (I have used pink fondant to make scarf)
  9. Using the small amount of water adhere the scarf pieces around the neck of the snowman and cut any overhang at the neck off using the sharp knife.
  10. Then using the edible pen draw 3 dots for the design over stomach or you can use small balls of black fondant too.
  11. To make hat just roll black fondant and cut into a rectangular shape as shown in the video and in the middle just paste pink fondant strip.
  12. Tadaa, cute and sweet snowman cookies are ready. Enjoy!!!

My Take :
  • I like to lift my fondant frequently to ensure it does now stick to the surface while rolling it out.
