Hello Everyone,
Today's recipe is healthy, very easy to prepare at home that is multigrain flour/atta. Staying in the
USA, it's difficult to find flour Mill. So, today I have prepared my own homemade Multigrain flour by grinding it to my mixer grinder. Maharashtrian style bhajanichi chakli without which Diwali cannot be celebrated. Chakali can be prepared in different ways like Rice flour chakli, wheat flour chakali, jawar flour chakali, etc. This chakali is prepared using chakali chi bhajani. You can find hardly anybody who doesn't like chakali. This is all time favorite snack too!






Ingredients :
  1. Rice 2 cup / तांदुळ २ कप
  2. Chana Dal ½ cup / हरभरा डाळ १/२ कप
  3. Urad Dal ½  cup / उडिद डाळ १/२ कप
  4. Moong Dal ½ cup / मुगडाळ १/२ कप
  5. Pohe ¼ cup / कच्चे पोहे १/४ कप
  6. Coriander seeds 3 tbsp / धने ३ चमचे

Recipe :
  1. Wash and soak rice in water for 1 hour (some people soaked it for overnight). Then
    drain water and spread over a clean cotton cloth and let it dry in the shade, do not sun dry it.
  2. Turn on flame and place a heavy bottom pan and heat it.
  3. Now add rice and dry roast it on low flame (Do not use oil). When rice feels hot, remove it into a big bowl.
  4. Now, dry roast remaining ingredients and mix all well and let all roasted grains cool.
  5. Mix all and grind to make fine powder. I have grinded
    my grains into mixer grinder. ( If flour Mill is available in areas where you live, then it's good, grind it in a flour mill).
  6. Let the flour come to room temperature after grinding. Store in an airtight container and use to prepare chakli, thalipeeth or any indian flat bread, bread with or without yeast, cookies, etc.
  7. Here, Healthy, your own homemade Multigrain flour is ready to make crispy chakli. Enjoy!!!

कृती :
१) तांदूळ स्वच्छ धुवून सुती कपड्यावर सावलीत वाळत घालावेत.
३) तांदुळ आणि सर्व डाळी मध्यम आचेवर, ब्राऊनिश रंग येईस्तोवर वेगवेगळ्या भाजून घ्याव्यात. धणे भाजून घ्यावेत.
४) सर्व डाळी, तांदूळ व इतर जिन्नस एकत्र करून थंड होवू द्यावे. थंड झाले कि बारीक दळून आणावे. (मी ही चकलीची भाजणी मिक्सर मध्ये बारीक
करून घेतली आहे आणि ह्या भाजणीच्या चकल्या खुप छान झाल्या)


टीपा:
१) चकली भाजणीसाठी बिनसालाची उडीद आणि मुगडाळ वापरावी.
२) सर्व डाळींवरील पावडर काढण्यासाठी ती न धुता ओल्या कापडाने वेगवेगळ्या पुसून घ्याव्यात. यामुळे डाळी वाळवण्याचा वेळ वाचतो. तसेच डाळी भाजताना वेळ कमी लागतो.

Per serving contains 620 calories, along with carbohydrates - 119.36 g, dietary fiber - 20.23 g, fats - 3.5 g, proteins - 28.26 g.

    1. Many thanks Azlin Bloor. Yes bhajnichi chakli taste superb. By using this multigrain flour mix we can prepare paratha(Thalipeeth) too.
