Hello Everyone, 

Want to lose weight by eating tasty food, drumstick soup is the solution and it is tasty, healthy and very easy to make. It can be eaten in unlimited quantities and is real delight to eat.
So, today's recipe is Drumstick Soup, which is low in calories, low in fats and is highly nutritious. Bowl full with essential dietary minerals, vitamins, proteins and most importantly Vitamin A and beta - carotene which helps to improve Eye vision and also prevent Ageing Macular Degeneration. So nurture your body with this warm Drumstick Soup.



Preparation and Cooking Time : 15 Minutes.

* Per Serving carries 41 kcal.

Ingredients :
  1. Drumstick pods 50 g
  2. Olive oil ½ tsp
  3. Garlic 1 cloves
  4. Ginger 1 tsp
  5. Tomato ½  small, chopped
  6. Onion ½  small, chopped
  7. Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  8. Salt ½  tsp
  9. Pigeon peas / Tur dal 2 tbsp, boiled
  10. Black pepper 1 tsp
  11. Coriander leaves 2 tbsp, chopped.
  12. Cumin Powder 1 tsp
  13. Asafoetida 1 pinch
  14. Water 2 ½ cup




Recipe :
  1. In a pan heat ½  tsp olive oil, add ginger, garlic, chopped onion and tomato, saute well and add turmeric powder, pinch of asafoetida, cumin powder, salt, black pepper and pigeon peas or toor dal mix and saute.
  2. Now add washed, trimmed and chopped drumstick pods and mix all very well and add water, bring it to boil and add coriander leaves. Then cover pan with lead and cook till pod gets cooked well inside and till the mixture is homogenous.
  3. Here, Healthy, tasty and Hot Drumstick Soup is ready to serve. Serve it hot with brown bread. Enjoy!!!
